Childfree's Choice Gita Savitri, Ministry Of PPPA: Not Agreeing, Can Extinction This Nation

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection also spoke about the issue of having no descent or childfree which was conveyed by YouTuber Gita Savitri.

"Of course the KemenPPPA will not support something like that," said Assistant Deputy for the Protection of Women's Rights in the Household and Vulnerables of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Eni Widiyanti in a discussion themed "Confuse Women's Toxic Relations with Possive Men", in Jakarta, Friday.

He assessed that such a perspective is inversely proportional to the vision and mission of the Ministry of PPPA.

According to Eni, KemenPPPA has a mission to maintain the sustainability of the nation in the future.

"A nation has a population, there are women, there are men with all ages, conditions. If it turns out that someone has decided they don't want to have children, then the KemenPPPA supports it, this nation could become extinct," said Eni Widiyanti.

Eni Widiyanti said the government was actually trying to improve the quality of life for Indonesians.

"For example, in terms of why stunting is very important to overcome, because once a child is born, he is stunted because he is malnourished because his mother at marriage is still a child. That's our concern for the survival of the nation," he said.

Eni said that if the quality of children who are born healthy and can grow and develop optimally, the state will benefit from the quality of a good future generation.
