MALUKU - The SAR Joint Team found an old woman named Asi Lesi who was 80 years old and dead after being reported missing while going to a garden in Gotalamo Village, Morotai Island Regency, North Maluku. "The victim was found at around 09.55 WIT by the Joint SAR Team in a dead condition at coordinates 2° 5'0.00"N/128°18'51.00"E or at a distance of 1 km radian 268° from LKP," said Head of Ternate Basarnas Fathur Rahman when contacted, Antara, Friday, February 17. The victim, he continued, was evacuated to a resident's village and taken to the Morotai Hospital for further processing and then handed over to the family. Previously, the Morotai SAR Alert Unit received a report that a grandmother was missing in the forest of Gotalamo Village. It is known that on February 16, 2023 at 09.00 WIT, Asi Lesi went to the garden and usually came home at 16.00 WIT. However, until the evening the victim never returned. This made the community and the TNI-Polri try to search the location of the garden and its surroundings. However, they only found vegetables and ketupat leaves, so the family reported Basarnas.
