DKI Provincial Government Appoints Ukrida Hospital As Reference For Handling COVID-19 Patients

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has designated the West Jakarta Ukrida Hospital as a reference for treating patients exposed to COVID-19.

Head of Public Relations and Marketing for Ukrida Hospital Fanny Rahjati Lie in Jakarta, Tuesday, said that currently his party is treating 14 patients who are exposed to COVID-19.

"The number of hospitalized patients for COVID-19 is currently 14 people and the current capacity is 50 beds," said Fanny Rahjati as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 5.

So that the bed capacity of COVID-19 patients at Ukrida Hospital has been filled as much as 28 percent of the total capacity.

Fanny said that Ukrida Hospital began serving COVID-19 patients since December 18, 2020 with intensive care unit (ICU) bed services for COVID-19 patients, but the number has not been disclosed.

Previously, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmadi Riza Patria said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government had added three COVID-19 referral hospitals, namely West Jakarta Ukrida Hospital, East Jakarta Antam Medika Hospital, and Harapan Jayakarta East Jakarta Hospital.

So that currently the total number of referral hospitals in DKI Jakarta has reached 101. In addition to adding referral hospitals, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also proposed an additional 2,676 health personnel.
