JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto and Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin, had time to discuss the issue of the Change Coalition initiated by NasDem, PKB and Democrats.

The conversation was heard when the two met during a morning walk together at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, February 10. Initially, Airlangga mentioned the PKS plan to declare official support for Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate (candidate) in 2024. The declaration will be made by PKS on 24 February. It is known, previously the Golkar Party and PKS had held a meeting at the Golkar DPP Office some time ago.

"They are the declaration (Anies, ed), on the 24th PKS will be declared," said Airlangga.

Hearing this information, Cak Imin then asked Airlangga whether the declaration of support to Anies would be carried out together with NasDem and the Democrats. "Three?" asked Cak Imin.

Airlangga replied that Anies' declaration as a presidential candidate would be carried out by each political party.

"It's alone," he replied.

The conversation between the two went wide into the matter of the plan to declare the Coalition for Change. Cak Imin also questioned Airlangga about the certainty of PKS, Democrats and NasDem to build a coalition. "But the three of them are for sure?" asked Cak Imin again.

Regarding this, Airlangga ensured that the three parties would definitely build a Coalition for Change to carry Anies. However, he said, NasDem was still refraining from declaring.

"Those three are definitely, but NasDem is still holding back," said Airlangga.
