JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo invited his two grandchildren to visit the DeliPark Mall shopping center in Medan, North Sumatra, on the sidelines of the second day of his working visit to the province.

The presence of President Jokowi with his two grandchildren, Sedah Mirah and Panembahan Al Nahyan, and son-in-law Bobby Nasution was greeted with enthusiasm by mall visitors.

The atmosphere at the mall that was originally quiet, Thursday, February 9 evening, was immediately bustling. Many mall visitors called the President and asked to take pictures together.

Ayin, one of the visitors said that she was walking in the mall and was happy to meet and take a photo with the President.

"Incidentally, I see a lot of people screaming 'Sir, Sir' like that, oh apparently Mr. President, it's great to be able to meet and take photos with the number one person in Indonesia," she said as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 10.

Apart from that, another visitor, Yohana, said that she did not expect to meet the President.

"(Like) a dream, when I'm stressed about work, I suddenly saw him, because I was passing by the office, I just looked, I couldn't meet," she said.

At the shopping center, President Jokowi, wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, visited one of the playgrounds to accompany his two grandchildren to play.

Afterward, the President visited several clothing stores and bought pink sweatpants and a black tracksuit for his grandson.
