Bekasi Regency Is Hit By Wind And Wind, 5 Houses In Tambun To Babelan Are Hit By Trees

A total of five houses in Bekasi Regency were hit by trees due to heavy rain accompanied by strong winds on Thursday, February 9 afternoon.

Supervisor of the Bekasi Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Theo Chandra Kusumah said the houses that were hit by the tree were in the districts of Tambun Utara, Babelan, and Muaragembong sub-districts.

"A house was damaged by a tree at Alamanda Regency Karangsatria Housing, North Tambun District. One affected family consists of three people," he said in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Thursday, February 9, was confiscated by Antara.

In addition to hitting a house in Alamanda Housing, two other houses throughout North Tambun District were also hit by a tree each in Pulo Puter Village, RT 04 RW 02, Srimahi Village and Kampung Kalenkendal RT 01/06, Srimahi Village.

A similar incident also occurred in Bugis Village, RT 02/01, Jayasakti Village, Muaragembong District. "One house was damaged on the roof or tile, one affected family consisting of two people," he said.

A fallen tree also hit a house in Babakan Village, RT 05/02, Muarabakti Village, Babelan District. At this location, the owner of the house was assisted by residents cleaning up the debris from the destroyed Asbestos roof.

In addition to hitting five houses, fallen trees also blocked two roads in Bekasi Regency. Each in the Delta Silicon 2 Industrial Estate, Cicau Village, Central Cikarang and in Tambun Village, South Tambun District.

"Temporary data there were no fatalities and injuries. One house was heavily damaged and one house was moderately damaged while three other houses were lightly damaged," said Theo.

The owner of the house in Alamanda Ismail Housing (40) explained that the incident began when heavy rain accompanied by strong winds occurred during the day when he was in the kitchen behind the house.
