Anies And Sandi's Agreement In The 2017 DKI Pilkada Initiated By Jusuf Kalla

Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party (Golkar) Erwin Aksa Mahmud said the agreement between Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno in the 20117 DKI Pilkada was initiated or proposed by Jusuf Kalla (JK).

Erwin said the agreement between Anies and Sandiaga was based on the wishes and input of Jusuf Kalla, who at that time was still serving as vice president with Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as president.

At that time Jusuf Kalla gave input to make an agreement, as was he making an agreement with Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in the 2004 to 2009 presidential elections.

The contents of the agreement, Erwin continued, concerns SBY's role and responsibility as president and JK as vice president.

"This (Anies Sandi's agreement) is also of the will of Mr. JK, Mr. JK has an agreement with Mr. SBY in the 2004 to 2009 presidential election. At that time, Mr. SBY did what work, Mr. JK did what work," said Erwin who invited Voi.id to look up from Akbar Faizal's Uncensored YouTube channel.

"Just make the same agreement, like me and Pak SBY. Pak SBY is the president and JK is the vice president. Pak JK himself advises us," continued Erwin.

Furthermore, Erwin claimed to have participated in compiling the draft of the contents of the agreement which was then made by Rikrik Rizkiyana as Sandi's lawyer at that time.

"The point is, if I'm not mistaken, the debt agreement may be that the person who has money gives debts to those who don't have money, that's roughly the case... Because Mr. Sandi has liquidity, then gives a loan to Mr. Anies because of the first round, yes, his name is still limping," Erwin explained.

The agreement was first revealed by the Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Board of Trustees, Sandiaga Uno, however, recently Sandi was reluctant to reveal again regarding the agreement.

Met at the NU Century Peak Celebration event, Sandiaga admitted that he was more concerned with his mandate as Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy. "After I prayed istikharah, after I considered consulting with my family, I don't want to continue the conversation on this," Sandiaga told reporters in East Java, Tuesday, February 7.
