Chases Until Disrupted In Selokan, An Illegal Cigarette Batang Transport Car Was Secured In Kudus

A total of 52,000 illegal cigarettes were secured by the Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC) of the Madya Excise type Kudus, Central Java (Central Java). Deliveries are made using private cars.

Meanwhile, the driver and kernet fled.

From the results of the examination, it was found that one panel of machine kretek cigarettes (SKM) was without excise tape attached and 18 SKM-type cigarette bales with other brands attached to allegedly fake excise stamps. The value of goods is estimated at IDR 62.26 million with a potential state revenue of IDR 44.73 million. The public is advised not to buy, sell, or distribute illegal cigarettes because in addition to harming state revenue there are also criminal sanctions in the form of 1-8 years in prison and a fine of up to 20 times the excise value that should be paid.
