The Head Of The NTB ESDM Initials ZA Was Examined By The Attorney General's Office In The Case Of Corruption Mines Iron Sand

The prosecutor's prosecutor's office examined the Head of the Energy Service for Mineral Resources (ESDM) of West Nusa Tenggara with the initials ZA regarding the alleged corruption case of iron sand mining activities in East Lombok Regency. Spokesperson for the NTB High Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, confirmed the investigation by the NTB Head of Energy and Mineral Resources by the special criminal investigation team. "Yes, the special criminal investigation prosecutor team examined ZA as a witness," said Efrien in Mataram, Antara, Friday, February 3. The investigation of ZA, he explained, took place in the Special Criminal Investigation Room of the NTB Prosecutor's Office starting at around 10:00 WITA. Regarding the examination material, Efrien admitted that he had not received further information from investigators. Meanwhile, ZA, who was confirmed via instant message on the WhatsApp application, was reluctant to comment on his examination as a witness in the case. "Sorry, brother, I can't answer," he wrote. Investigators in this case have previously examined two witnesses from NTB ESDM officials and the NTB Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Representative Office. The two government officials who attended the examination agenda on Wednesday (1/2) had the initials HB from the NTB ESDM Service and MN from the NTB Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Representative Office. This alleged corruption case is entering the investigation stage in accordance with an order from the Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office number: Print-01/N.2/Fd.1/01/2023, on January 18, 2023. As a follow-up to the warrant, Efrien ensured that investigators had compiled a series of examination agendas and efforts to collect documents related to the matter. This allegedly problematic iron sand mining activity took place in Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency. The mining activity was allegedly carried out by a company with the initials AMG with a production operation mining business permit (IUP-OP) capital. The company is mining using a magnetic separator or machine that utilizes magnetic attraction to separate mineral content materials. For processing, a company with the initials VUB also has an IUP-OP.
