BANDUNG - The National Land Agency (BPN) of Bandung City noted that many of the icons are located in the capital city of West Java belonging to the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) that have not been certified or have a Certificate of Ownership (SHM), one of which is the official residence of the mayor and Bandung Square. Head of the Bandung City Land Office Nugraha said among them are icons who do not yet have a certificate, namely the Pendopo or official residence of the Mayor of Bandung and Bandung Square. "Many of the Bandung City icons turned out to be uncertified, we will immediately help the local government for the certificate, in the context of the land archives as well," said Nugraha, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, February 3. Overall, according to him, in Bandung City there are as many as 17 thousand local government assets (Pemda). However, he said, only 12 thousand assets officially have certificates. "Yesterday 2021 we have certified 650 assets, about 4000 more (remain) targets of local government assets that we will certify. In succession, yes, not only in 2023," he said. The latest one of our land owners, Bandung City BPN, has carried out land certification for the assets of the Geora Bandung Jatan Api Stadium (GBLA), so that GBLA is now officially owned by the Bandung City Government. In addition, he encouraged the public to carry out the Community Movement for Financing Association (Gemapatas). Because, he said, the installation of benchmarks is information for those who control the land. "One of the problems is when the land owner does not protect the land, one of our elements is to maintain the benchmark," he said. Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana said Gemapatas was an important movement for legal certainty. His party has also officially installed a benchmark (limit) in the Pendopo area as an initial step for the asset certification process. "This has an extensive impact on the certainty of community land ownership law, including belonging to the city government as well," said Yana.

Of the approximately 5,000 local government assets that have not been certified, according to him, not all of them are building-shaped assets. Because, he said, there were also government assets in the form of roads, parks, and so on. "Hopefully this will also reduce land conflicts that usually occur anywhere, earlier regarding annexation," he said.
