JAKARTA - The Sawah Besar Police are still conducting an investigation regarding a repeater tower or radio at the DKI Jakarta Maritime and Agricultural Food Security Service (KPKP) which collapsed. After an examination, the police confirmed that there were no casualties in the incident.

"There were no victims in the incident. It collapsed due to strong winds accompanied by rain," said Head of Sawah Besar Police, Kompol Patar Mula Bona when contacted, Thursday, February 2, evening.

Meanwhile, police are still gathering a number of eyewitnesses regarding the collapse of the radio tower at the government office.

"The tower is on the 8th floor, it collapsed into the building area. The firefighters are still evacuating the tower," he said.

After the evacuation process is complete, an investigation and examination of witnesses related to the incident will be carried out.

"However, at this time no witnesses have been questioned because they are still in the evacuation process," he said.

Previously, it was reported that due to strong winds, a repeater tower or radio at the DKI Jakarta Maritime and Agricultural Food Security Service (KPKP) office on Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, suddenly collapsed on Thursday, February 2, evening.

"Yes, it is true that the large radio transmitter antenna collapsed in the DKI Jakarta KPKP office yard," said Head of North Gunung Sahari, Hasbullah when confirmed, Thursday, February 2.
