PKS Enggan TOLD Surya Paloh Who Opened The Possibility Of Joining KIB In The 2024 General Election

JAKARTA - PKS remains prejudiced in its relations with the NasDem and Democratic parties, both of which are finalizing plans to build a Change Coalition to look at the 2024 General Election.

This was said by the Chairman of the PKS DPP, Mardani Ali Sera, in response to the visit of the Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, to Golkar's headquarters in Jakarta yesterday. During the meeting, Paloh had opened up the possibility that NasDem would join the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) which was filled with Golkar, PPP and PAN. "Good agreement. We (remain) husnuzan, have good prejudice," said Mardani, Thursday, February 2.

Mardani believes that NasDem and Democrats will remain focused on looking at the 2024 General Election by finalizing cooperation in the Change Coalition. Even if there are meetings with other political parties, he said, it is to build the nation. Because, it takes the cooperation of many parties in realizing this goal.

"We are focused on finalizing the Change Coalition. Other chapters are secondary," said Mardani.

Previously, the Head of NasDem Surya Paloh opened the possibility of his party joining KIB. On the other hand, Paloh also invited KIB to form a coalition with NasDem. Paloh admitted that his party was trying to collaborate with other political parties. Because with Golkar, NasDem's relationship is very close and even has a history. "The others we just tried, just tried. Will it be necessary to join KIB? Yes, it's possible. Maybe KIB also joined NasDem, right? So probability, the possibility is still open," Paloh said during a press conference at the Golkar DPP Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, February 1.
