JAKARTA - Gerindra Daily Chairperson Sufmi Dasco Ahmad has not confirmed whether he will open the Prabowo Subianto-Anies Baswedan agreement. Dasco said his party would look at the situation or the right development before opening it.

"Later on another occasion, let's see the developments (to open the contents of the agreement). Later, will we tell a little about it or what," Dasco said at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

Dasco said that the agreement was written by his colleague at Gerindra Fadli Zon and is still being kept. Pressed by the media crew whether the agreement is still valid until 2024, Dasco answered it diplomatically.

"That's why I said, if someone says it, they don't understand that, you know. As for outsiders, they don't understand and don't know," said Dasco.

Previously, the spokesperson for the Anies Baswedan Team, Sudirman Said, dismissed Sandiaga Uno's statement regarding the agreement between Anies Baswedan and Prabowo Subianto before the 2017 DKI Jakarta Pilkada. This agreement, according to Sandiaga, is still valid today.

According to Sudirman, he had never heard of the agreement. "I have not heard of any such agreement. What existed was an agreement on sharing the election costs with Pak Sandi, I know that," said Sudirman, Monday, January 30.

According to Dasco, the Anies-Prabowo agreement is internal in nature and not to be disclosed to the public.

"So actually it's like this, if someone says that the agreement doesn't exist, for example, that person might not know. Why? Because so far the agreement is internal, we don't expose it to the public. And it's not for consumption. public"
