Bogor DPRD Chairperson Wants The 'One Billion One Village' Samisade Program To Continue

BOGOR - Head of DPRD Bogor Regency, West Java Rudy Susmanto wants the district government to continue the village financial assistance program called One Billion One Village or Samisade.

"Personally and institutionally, I request that the village infrastructure financial assistance program be continued, and that it must be budgeted for in the 2024 APBD," said Rudy Susmanto, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 31.

Rudy admitted that he really supports the Samisade program which was initiated by the non-active Bogor Regent Ade Yasin. The proof is that in the 2023 APBD which is currently underway, the Samisade program has received a budget allocation of IDR 407 billion.

This amount has increased compared to the previous year which was only IDR 395 billion, and much larger than when this program was launched in 2021 with a budget allocation of IDR 372 billion.

Rudy considered this program quite good at accelerating development in the village, so the DPRD's Budget Agency (Banggar) agreed that Samisade would be re-budgeted.

"This program is very important to give a sense of justice to the community by using the APBD distribution function for equitable development. Because development in our area ends up using a bottom-up system from the bottom up. So what the community needs through each village is accommodated in the Samisade budget," he added.

The Samisade program, according to him, can also stimulate the local economy. By involving a large number of local workers, the circulation of money will ultimately provide trickles for many residents and improve the welfare of the village community.

"With adequate infrastructure, villagers can be more productive in utilizing their regional potentials, be more creative, innovative, and independent," he said.

The program also aims to reduce the open unemployment rate, then minimize citizens who become migrant workers, and reduce people's interest in migrating to big cities.

"By utilizing the village's potential, the welfare of the villagers will be achieved more quickly," he said.

Rudy hopes that there are no more parties who want to eliminate this program in the development plan. Better, he said, attention to how to improve the quality of program implementation must be improved.

Even so, Rudy reminded the village government to immediately complete the use and reporting of the 2022 Samisade, so that they could use the 2023 Samisade.

"The faster the budget is absorbed, the faster jobs in the field can be enjoyed by the community," he said.
