Light Rain Looms Over Jakarta On The First Day Of 2021

JAKARTA - Light rains loomed over a number of areas of Jakarta on the first Friday of 2021, based on weather forecasts from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

Quoted by Antara from the page bmkg.go.id at 02.51 WIB, BMKG also issued an early warning of potential rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in a number of areas of DKI Jakarta.

"Be aware of the potential for rain which can be accompanied by lightning / lightning and strong winds in the South, West Jakarta and East Jakarta areas between noon and before night," said BMKG early warning.

Based on the weather forecast released by BMKG through its official website, the weather for the DKI Jakarta area on Friday morning was marked by light rain in the areas of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta and South Jakarta.

Meanwhile, North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands have a cloudy status.

Entering the afternoon, light rain is still expected to occur in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta. For the South Jakarta area, there was heavy rain and moderate rain in East Jakarta.

Until evening, cloudy sunny weather occurred throughout the DKI Jakarta administration area.

The weather changed again in the early morning, the Thousand Islands were predicted to have moderate rain, North Jakarta and West Jakarta turned cloudy.
