Three Names For Candidates For The DKI Jakarta Secretary Have Been Pocketed By The Selection Committee

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Intermediate High Leadership Open Selection Committee (JPT) announced three names that passed after taking part in the test stages for candidates for regional secretary (sekda) of DKI Jakarta Province.

The chairman of the Open Selection Committee, Suhajar Diantoro, as quoted by Antara, announced the results of the selection through Announcement Number 4 of 2023 which was uploaded through the DKI Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) website accessed in Jakarta, Sunday (29/1).

The three names are Joko Agus Setyono, who is currently the Head of the Bali Province Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), then Dhany Sukma, who currently serves as the Mayor of Central Jakarta. and Michael Rolandi Cesnanta Brata who is currently the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency.

The announcement stated that the three names came out based on the results of all stages of selection.

The decision on the selection results from the committee signed by Suhajar Diantoro on Friday (27/1) was final and could not be contested.

However, the decision letter from the selection committee did not show the total value of all stages of selection.

The last value known is the value of the managerial test which was won by Joko Agus Setyono at 88.16, then Dhany Sukma's second position (87.07), and Michael Rolandi (86.58).

The announcement of the final results from the selection committee was faster than the schedule stated in Announcement Number 1 of 2023, namely February 2, 2023.

Meanwhile, the three names passed the final results of the selection committee (pansel) after setting aside three other candidates who took the last test, namely the interview test.

The other names that were not included in the top three were the Head of the DKI Inspectorate, Syaifullah Hidayat, the Chief Executive of the DKI Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Isnawa Adji, and the Head of the DKI Jakarta Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP), Benni Aguscandra.

They have gone through a series of selections ranging from administration, field competence by writing papers, managerial tests, and cultural socio to an interview test with the selection committee.

The biggest weight in the selection assessment was an interview with the pansel of 35 percent and a managerial and socio-cultural test of 25 percent. Then the competence of the field and track record each weighs 20 percent.

After this, the selection committee submitted the results of the final assessment of the selection to the Personnel Guidance Officer (PPK), namely the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Heru Budi Hartono.

The PPK will later hand over the names of the three candidates who have passed the top three selections to the President through the Minister of Home Affairs.

In paragraph 5 of Article 114 of Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN) it is stated that the President chose one of the three names of candidates to be appointed as middle high leadership officials (DKI Regional Secretary).
