South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman in his statement in Makassar, quoted from Antara Saturday, January 28, said the Housing, Settlement and Land Office (Perkimtan) would build 11 units of the Arsinum PSU in the Selayar Islands and Pangkajene and Islands (Pangkep), Sinjai, Bone, Maros Regency.

Four of them are in Selayar Islands Regency, namely Bahuluang Island, Bahuluang Special Village, Bontosikuyu District, Karumpa Island, Karumpa Village, Pasilambena District; Latondu Island, Latondu Village, Takabonerate District; Tarupa Island, Talupa Village, Takabonerate District.

Two units will be built in the archipelago in Pangkep, namely Salemo Island, Mattiro Bombang Village, North Tupabiring District, and Saugi Island, Mattirobaji Village, North Tupabiring District.

"Alhamdulillah, in 2022 we have built 10 units of electricity and the community has enjoyed the benefits of getting safe and healthy drinking water. This year 11 units of electricity will be built again," said South Sulawesi Governor Andi Sudirman Sulaiman.

He explained that the target for the construction of the ARSINUM PSU was to be given to the people of islands, coastal areas, and areas prone to drinking water properly and safely.

"We hope that this ARsinum will be useful for our people in the islands and on the coast, so that people can enjoy drinking water properly and safely," he explained.
