TANGERANG Two people who died in the fire incident at a laundry outlet or laundry station in Pondok Arum, Karawaci, Tangerang City caught fire, namely Andrianto (49) and a new employee, Amat (20).

Maya, one of the residents around the scene, said Andrianto had time to get out of the burning building, but somehow he returned to the fire.

"He entered again, didn't know that he was still calling inside, or there were files. At that time the fire was still small," Maya said when met at the location in Pondok Arum, Karawaci, Tangerang City, Friday, January 27.

Regarding the chronology of the incident, Maya admitted that she did not know more for sure. However, based on information from other residents around her, the fire came from a consteted iron cable, then emitted a fire.

"The information was from the iron cable, the smoke came out and then the fire continued to fire," he said.

Contacted separately, the Karawaci Police Chief, Commissioner Hasoloan Situmorang, is still investigating the chronology of the incident. The plan is for the National Police Headquarters to investigate the case.

The alleged cause is still being investigated. Forensic Laboratory wants to come from the National Police Headquarters to conduct an investigation regarding the cause of the fire," he concluded.

The laundry outlet at Pondok Arum Housing, Karawaci, Tangerang City caught fire, two people died in this incident.

The Chief Executive (Kalak) of the Tangerang City BPBD, Maryono Hasan, said the incident occurred on Friday, January 27, at 15.35 WIB.

Maryono explained that the cause of the fire from the laundry station was suspected to have been an electrical short on the Laundry engine. A total of 10 firefighters were deployed to extinguish the fire.
