There Will Be A 'hand' Of The Chairul Tanjung And Sudwikatmono Conglomerates At Patimban Port

JAKARTA - Chairul Tanjung, through PT CT Infrastruktur, is officially the manager of the Patimban port along with three other companies. They are members of the Patimban Consortium appointed by the Ministry of Transportation through the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.

The Patimban consortium consists of PT CTCorp Infrastruktur Indonesia, PT Indika Logistic & Support Services, PT U Connectivity Services, and PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya. The Ministry of Transportation has issued a Decree of the Director General of Sea Transportation as the Person in Charge for the Cooperation Project (PJPK) of the Patimban Port PPP Project Number KP.910 / DJPL / 2020 on December 29, 2020 concerning the Determination of the Results of the Direct Appointment of Procurement of the Patimban Port PPP Project Implementation Agency

After that, an announcement was made by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation as the Procurement Committee for the Patimban Port PPP Implementing Business Entity that the company officially appointed to carry out the project is the Patimban Consortium.

As for implementing the Patimban Port management project, the total value of capital costs agreed upon in the cooperation is around Rp. 18.9 trillion and the total value of operational costs is around Rp. 64.3 trillion.

PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY) Corporate Secretary Adi Pramono in disclosing information on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website said that PT Indika Logistic & Support Services (ILSS) as a member of the consortium is one of the diversification strategies carried out by the Indika Group. . The step, according to him, is to raise ILSS performance.

Indika Energy is a company founded by Agus Lasmono Sudwikatmono. Agus is the youngest son of conglomerate Sudwikatmono, one of the founders of the Salim Group.

"The Patimban Consortium aims to turn Patimban Port into a modern and efficient port where technology is an integral part of the management of the Patimban Project," Adi was quoted as saying, Thursday, December 31.
