Today The Ministry Of Health Sends An SMS To Vaccine Recipients To Participate In Covid-19 Vaccination

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) will send an SMS to the people who are the target recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine today, Thursday, December 31.

Spokesperson for the COVID-19 vaccination from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), Siti Nadia Tarmizi, said SMS will be received to recipient groups that have been determined by the government, namely Indonesian citizens aged 19 to 59 years.

"Yes, the government will send SMS to recipients of the COVID-19 vaccination," said Siti Nadia when confirmed by VOI, Friday, December 31.

Siti said, the plan for sending SMS to vaccine recipients was stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07 / MENKES / 12757/2020 concerning Determination of the Target for the Implementation of COVID-19 Vaccination.

In this decision, Minister of Health Budi Sadikin said that his party set a target for the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination, starting with the sending of notification via SMS blast on December 31, 2020.

People who receive notification via SMS Blast as referred to in must follow the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination.

However, the exception is for people who do not meet the criteria for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine according to the indications for the available COVID-19 vaccine.

Siti Nadia continued, the SMS recipients of COVID-19 vaccination will receive today are limited to information and education on vaccine administration.

Meanwhile, the re-registration process to determine the vaccination schedule will be informed gradually in the future.

"The SMS is gradual, from socialization to registration for vaccination targets. Later, the SMS notification for re-registration is different from the one sent today. There is a form filling that will be done," he explained.
