Response To The Statement Of The Underground Movement Mahfud MD, Ferdy Sambo Kubu: He Is Maha Tofu

JAKARTA - Ferdy Sambo's camp satirized the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD with the phrase "maha tahu".

The satire of Ferdy Sambo's attorney, Arman Hanis, responded to Mahfud MD's statement that there was an "underground movement" that intervened in the verdict of the defendants in the alleged premeditated murder case against Yosua alias Brigadier J.

"I've conveyed everything. What Mr. Mahfud said, did I not hear either. There is an underground movement, he asked, he is the only authority," said Arman at the South Jakarta District Court (PN Jaksel), January 24.

In fact, Arman was reluctant to comment further on the underground movement. Even with Ferdy Sambo who is said to know nothing.

"I can't comment on anything, my client also doesn't know anything," said Arman

On the previous occasion, Mahfud MD said that there were parties who were involved in an underground movement to intervene in the verdict against Ferdy Sambo Cs.

The goal is that they want Sambo to be released, while some want Sambo to be punished.

"Some have said that Brigadier General approached A and B, Brigadier General who I told me to call, later I have a lot of mayjens. If you have Major General who wants to press the court or the prosecutor's office, here I have Lt. Gen. So just be independent," said Mahfud.

However, his party was able to secure this. The Prosecutor's Office was not affected by underground movements related to the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.

"I make sure that the prosecutor's office is independent, it will not be influenced by underground movements," said Mahfud.
