During 3-Day Chinese New Year Holiday, More Than 102 Thousand People Came To Ragunan Wildlife Park

JAKARTA - During the three-day Chinese New Year holiday from 21 to 23 January 2023, 102,146 people came to Ragunan Wildlife Park.

"The number has reached 102,146 people," said Ragunan Wildlife Park Service and Public Relations Staff, Wahyudi Bambang when contacted, in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 24, quoted by Antara.

During these three holidays, the peak of visitor density occurred on Sunday (22/1) because it coincided with the Chinese New Year 2574 Kongzili.

As many as 61,026 visitors visited the Wildlife Park on Sunday with 7,291 two-wheeled vehicles, 66 buses, 307 bicycles, 4,585 four-wheeled vehicles, including 9,236 visitors to the Schmutzer Primate Center.

"Sunday coincides with Chinese New Year, there are more visitors compared to last Saturday and Monday," he continued.

Bambang explained, on Saturday (21/1) at the same time as the first day of the Chinese New Year holiday, 20,881 visitors came to Ragunan Wildlife Park.

That number of visitors brought 2,584 two-wheeled vehicles, 33 buses, 108 bicycles, 1,726 four-wheeled vehicles, including 5,081 visitors to the Schmutzer Primate Center.

Then, Monday (23/1) as a public holiday, 20,239 visitors were recorded with details of bringing 2,652 two-wheeled vehicles, 9 buses, 110 bicycles, 1,670 four-wheeled vehicles, including 2,847 visitors to the Schmutzer Primate Center.

"Ragunan Wildlife Park will remain open from January 22 to 23 2023, while January 24 2023 will be closed for maintenance as well as for animal holidays," he said.

In order to increase the comfort of visitors, the Ragunan Wildlife Park Manager also provides running tracks, pedestrians and an online library.

Wahyudi explained that since the government revoked the policy for implementing community activities (PPKM), the visit to Ragunan Wildlife Park has no longer been limited to quotas.
