TANGERANG Although the arrangement has been carried out by PT TNG, BUMD Tangerang City, the face of the Pasar Lama culinary area still looks chaotic. The narrow road for pedestrians is considered to have the potential for criminal acts, such as pickpocketing and sexual harassment.

"It's really small. You can imagine if tonight is Sunday night, it must be very crowded and narrow. It could be a pickpocketing or harassment," said Risman, one of the visitors to Pasar Lama, Friday, January 20.

Risman admits that he does not blame the latest concept from PT TNG, but if you look at the current conditions, he said, it can lead to unwanted things.

"Actually, the concept is good. But this road is really small. I think it's really crowded, it's dangerous," he said.

A trader who did not want to be named also said that access for pedestrians and even street vendors (PKL) was very small.

"Yes, it's small (the road). Especially if it's a week, it won't fit," he said.

He admitted that he preferred the previous concept. But what power, he can't do anything.

"In my opinion, the old one (concept). But if it's like this, the important thing is to sell it," he concluded.
