JAKARTA - A number of people wearing vests from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) visited the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building on Jalan Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday 17 January afternoon.

Based on the information received, the KPK team came to the DKI DPRD building at around 15.30 WIB. Until the evening, the KPK team was still inside the building.

Instantly, the inside security officer (pamdal) of the DKI Jakarta DPRD immediately tightened security. Media crews are also prohibited from entering the building for any reason.

According to information, the KPK exploded a number of rooms, including the commission room to the DKI Jakarta DPRD faction room.

Until this news was written, there had been no information regarding the purpose of the KPK's arrival to the DKI DPRD building. A number of DKI DPRD members who were contacted admitted that they did not know about this.
