DKI Satpol PP Gives Land Cruiser To Fortuner Car Grants For Kodam Jaya Officials

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the regional work unit (SKPD) of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP has allocated a budget of Rp. 11 billion for grants to the Jaya Military Regional Command (Kodam) in the 2023 budget year APBD.

He explained in a working meeting with Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, the Rp11 billion grant was intended as the procurement of 10 vehicles for the Kodam Jaya official. The details are the Land Cruiser 1 unit, Prado 1 unit, Fortuner 2 units, and Innova 6 units.

The grant budget post is included in the sub-activity to prevent disturbances in security and public order through early detection and early prevention, guidance and counseling, implementation, patrol, security, and escort.

Meanwhile, the initial proposal for the submission of DKI Satpol PP grants to the Regional Military Command (Kodam Jaya) reached Rp50.9 billion. However, the grant funds approved to enter the APBD for the 2023 budget year amounted to Rp11 billion.

In addition, the DKI Satpol PP also allocated a grant budget of around Rp. 12 billion to the Pasmar 1 Marine Corps. The initial proposal submitted to the Pasmar 1 Marine Corps was Rp. 86 billion but was not approved.

Grant funds to the Pasmar 1 Marine Corps are intended as procurement of riot equipment.

The details are helmets, helmet sarongs, shields, vests, batons, to full face masks, each of which amounts to 400 pieces.

There are also 800 canister procurements, 800 pairs of gloves, 20 megaphones, 5 units of double cabin tactical vehicles, 1 unit of commander's vehicle, and 1 unit of deputy commander's vehicle.
