After Inter-passenger, Ojol In Cikini Was Kicked By Begal Until He Fell, Motor Dirampas

JAKARTA - The motorcycle robbery of online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) occurred on Jalan Cikini Raya, Menteng District, Central Jakarta. The perpetrator managed to seize the motorbike by kicking the victim.

The incident was caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media. However, as of Friday, January 13, the victim had not made an official report at the Menteng Metro Police.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Metro Police, AKP Kukuh Islami, said that his party had checked the scene to process the crime scene (TKP).

"The victim has not made a police report, we have directed the victim to make a report," AKP Kukuh told reporters, Friday, January 13.

According to AKP Kukuh, the incident occurred at around 02.30 WIB. From the victim's confession, the perpetrators numbered 4 people using two motorbikes.

"The incident occurred when the victim came home, after escorting passengers from the Senen area. He came home from the direction of Menteng Raya, then the victim was grabbed and kicked by his motorbike," he said.

The victim immediately avoided because the four of them. The victim then shouted at the perpetrator. However, the victim's motorbike was successfully taken away by the perpetrators.

"The situation on the road is quiet, so when the road is quiet there is an incident immediately. Meanwhile, members are still investigating in the field looking for CCTV to identify the characteristics of the perpetrators," he said.

From the victim's confession, the perpetrator did not take out a sharp weapon. The mode only grabbed the motorbike and kicked the victim.

"We are gathering other evidence to identify the perpetrators," he said.
