Formula E Jakarta Is Held Again June 3-4, 2023, PDIP Asks To Don't Copy Anies About Implementation Management

JAKARTA - Formula E event in Jakarta will resume this year. The electric car race is scheduled to be held on June 3-4, 2023. One thing related to the implementation is in the spotlight of PDIP faction member of the DKI DPRD Gilbert Simanjuntak.

When Formula E was held in the era of Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, Gilbert asked the DKI Provincial Government to fix the managerial implementation of problems in the Anies Baswedan era.

The most prominent problem is the results of an external audit by the public accounting firm regarding the costs of implementing and operating Formula E which has not yet been opened transparently.

"Anies should not be imitated by Heru. Until the end of his term of office, the Formula E issue has not been resolved. Jakpro has repeatedly stated that he will provide audit results, stated that profit and finally will continue the next session," Gilbert told reporters, Monday, January 9.

In fact, according to Gilbert, the clarity of the amount of losses that have occurred has not been disclosed and will actually continue until 2024, which will give the impression that the DKI Provincial Government's management will continue for several years as a result of Anies' policy.

Now, Formula E is being held under a business to business (B2B) scheme between PT Jakarta Propertindo as the organizer BUMD and Formula E Operation. However, Gilbert views that the responsibility of the DKI Provincial Government cannot be released.

"The reason that Jakpro is responsible, also now B to B, does not eliminate any mismanagement in the Anies era that Heru must correct as the current governor of DKI," Gilbert said.

"The failure to provide open audit results to the public is not only Jakpro's responsibility solely, but the responsibility of the DKI Provincial Government, in this case the Governor who is currently in office. Openness of people's money management is important to be given an example by the Governor of Heru," he said.
