JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mukomuko Police, Bengkulu arrested the perpetrator of sexual abuse of underage girls. The perpetrator is AD (19), a resident of Lubuk Bangko Village, Mukomuko Regency. Mukomuko Police Chief AKBP Nuswanto in his statement in Mukomuko, said the perpetrator was arrested in Lubuk Bangko Village, Selagan Raya District. Obscenity incidents against minors in this area occurred on December 28, 2022 at around 12.00 WIB at the perpetrator's house in Lubuk Bangko Village. Meanwhile, he also said, based on the results of the examination of doctors at this time the victim was six weeks pregnant. He said, the suspect violated Article 76 D in conjunction with Article 81 paragraph (2) of Law Number 16 of 2017 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with the threat of a minimum sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years and a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.
