Permit To Parents To Watch Cinemas, High School Students In Duren Sawit Reported Missing

JAKARTA Ela Septiana (16), a high school student in Duren Sawit, has been reported missing after going to the cinema since November 19, 2022. Local sector police officers are still searching for Ela.

The Head of the Duren Sawit Police, Kompol Martson Marbun, said that his party had asked for information from family and also close relatives regarding the information on Ela's last position.

"We and the victim's family routinely communicated because one day before leaving the victim's house, we talked to his parents," said Martson Marbun, quoted from Antara, Friday, January 6.

However, Marbun said that until now his party had not received any information on the girl's whereabouts.

"We continue to update the progress," said Marbun.

Meanwhile, Syafniel, who is the victim's father, said that his son before he disappeared, had time to say goodbye to watch movies in theaters with his friends.

"He went with his friend after he went to the cinema and didn't come home again. Now his friend who was together went home, he went through my rented house in front," said Syafniel.

Syafniel said she had asked her son's friends where Ela was going. But no one knows where Ela is going.

"I asked where Ela was going, she said she was playing with her friend," said Syafniel.

Syafniel admitted that his daughter was not the first to run away from home. Previously, Ela had also run away, but was found.

"Ngambek didn't accept what his parents said and he ran away from home. It ran away for almost three weeks," he said.

Syafniel said he had reported Ela's disappearance to the police and hoped the police could find clues to her son's whereabouts.

"At home it's like a normal person. At school it also includes being smart, his friends are taught a lot but because they are influenced by interaction now he is where our family has been looking everywhere," said Syafniel.
