The Location Of The Surabaya Citizen Dispute With PT KAI Was Visited By The Minister Of ATR: It Takes Time

JAKARTA - Agrarian Minister Hadi Tjahjanto inspected three locations that became disputes or problems in the city of Surabaya, East Java.

Accompanied by Deputy Minister of ATR Raja Juli Antoni, Hadi Tjahjanto inspected the location where the residents and PT KAI disputed, the location with the status of a green certificate or "Surat Ijo" and the location of the dispute between residents and PT Pelindo III.

At the first location in Waringin, Sawunggaling Village, Wonokromo District, Surabaya City, Hadi Tjahjanto took the time to talk with local residents.

Hadi said that his party would discuss with PT KAI to find the best solution for the community so that they have legal certainty by living in the area.

"We will offer any solutions. If we look at it physically, everything is already densely populated, the alleys are all narrow. The houses are also narrow 20 meters, some are 3x3 meters wide," he said, Thursday, January 5, as reported by Antara.

The former TNI commander asked the public to pray to God Almighty so that the matter could be resolved.

"This takes time. The important thing is that the minister already knows the problem here, so if the President asks, I can report the conditions on the ground. We will see everything. Keep praying so that there are solutions and clues from the power of attorney," he said.

In the second location, Hadi Tjahjanto visited the location of residents who occupied the land with the status of Surat Ijo. At this location, Hadi did not linger and immediately inspected the residential area of Tanjung Perak residents who had disputes with PT Pelindo III.

"We'll see for ourselves, this is the Pelindo area where there are people on it who we see are already very crowded. Therefore, I want to see firsthand how the conditions are in the field and we can see for ourselves like this," said Hadi.

He provided solutions that both parties could take.

"First, what we have to talk about is whether they can be given a certificate of ownership rights. Second, the solution provides HGB above the Other Management Rights (HPL) which if this is included in the assets or assets of SOEs that cannot be given to the community," said Hadi.

Third, he added, if this area will be carried out by Pelindo, then the community must be relocated. "However, this is the last resort for fear of resistance," he said.
