The Tambora Police, West Jakarta, revealed that D (50), a man who stole a garbage cart wearing an UPK uniform from the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency (DLH), was not a worker from the service.

"He is homeless," said Tambora Police Chief, Kompol Putra Pratama when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, January 3.

"The perpetrator admitted that he had an UPK shirt from the Water Agency (finding it) next to Kali," he added.

Furthermore, Kompol Putra also said that the perpetrator had twice stolen a garbage cart. The second time is next to the RW 15 post, Tanah Cereal Village, Tambora. The first is in Tanah Cereal.

"Two times they have stolen garbage carts. The first theft of garbage carts was carried out in the West Pademangan area and in Tanah Cereal Village, Tambora," he said.

The police have confiscated the UPK shirt of the DKI Jakarta Provincial LH Agency's Water Agency to be used as evidence. The uniform was secured at the Tambora Police so that it would not be misused again for the mode of theft.

Furthermore, for the case of the theft of a garbage cart carried out by the perpetrator with the initials D, the result of a joint decision with the RW management and religious leaders agreed to forgive the perpetrators.

Together with Babinsa, RW administrators and local religious leaders, they had deliberation and agreed not to continue this crime into the realm of law.

"After the residents' deliberation, this crime was resolved through restorative justice. We returned the perpetrator to his family," he said.
