The 6-year-old Boy Malika, Who Was Beaten By Scavengers, Was Seen In North Jakarta

JAKARTA - Malika, a 6-year-old girl, has not been found. She was missing, kidnapped by someone she allegedly knew, since December 7, 2022. The Sawah Besar Police are still searching, even involving the North Jakarta Social Service, Supervision and Control Team (P3S) to look for Malika.

The pleton commander of the North Jakarta P3S Rapid Response Team, Tommy Ariyanto, said the search was taken after information from the Central Jakarta Metro Police that IS, the alleged perpetrator, was suspected of being a scavenger in the North Jakarta area.

"We have submitted photos of kidnappers and victims to every scavenger met in our operation combing through people with social welfare problems (PMKS). We ask that if anyone sees the victim, they should immediately report it to the authorities," said Tommy as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 2.

One of the scavengers questioned by P3S Sudinsos Jakut officers in the Koja area, Udin Syihabudin (46), recognized Malika (6)'s face from a photo shown by P3S officer Sudinsos Jakut on the existing road in the area.

"I only knew his face, indeed the child in the photo was walking two days ago on the road," Udin told P3S officer Sudinsos Jakut.

Receiving information from Udin, P3S officers from the Jakut Social Service immediately moved to search the Koja area in question.

However, P3S officer Sudinsos Jakut has not yet obtained any results from the search this Monday.

Furthermore, Tommy ensured that his party would continue to search areas that were suspected of being prone to Social Welfare Problems (PMKS) in North Jakarta every day.

This is to help the Central Jakarta Metro Police find Malika.
