AP I And The Indonesian Air Force Synergize Support Reforestation In North Sulawesi

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura (AP I) together with the Indonesian Air Force Sam Ratulangi Air Base supports reforestation in North Sulawesi Province (Sulut).

"In order to preserve the environment and support regional tourism and economic programs, PT Angkasa Pura I of Sam Ratulangi Airport branch offices synergizes with the Sam Ratulangi Air Base Air Force," said GM Samrat Minggus Airport, Gandegai, in Manado, quoted from Antara, Saturday 31 December.

Sunday said that his party handed over 300 fruit trees for reforestation in Tounelet and Tasuka Villages, Kakas District, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi which are included in the PT Angkasa Pura I social and environmental responsibility program (TJSL).

In the planting activity held at the Sam Ratulangi Air Force Base Tasuka Post attended by the Sam Ratulangi Air Base Commander, PT Angkasa Pura I Representative General Manager of the Sam Ratulangi Airport branch office, Kakas Police Chief, Kakas Sub-district Head, Danramil Kakas, Tounelet Old Law, as well as Community and local community leaders.

"This activity aims to green and preserve the environment," he explained.

He explained that the planted fruit trees consisted of three types of fruit trees, namely mangoes, durians, and rambutan.

In the future, it is hoped that the results of the planted fruit trees can provide benefits for the surrounding community and all those involved.

"Angkasa Pura I as the airport manager has a commitment to contribute positively to the environment in running a business, one of which is the implementation of Green Airport and Eco Airport at the airport that we manage, with this tree planting program we are planting prayers and hopes for the sustainability of the next generation," said Herdiansyah as the representative General Manager of PT. Angkasa Pura I Sam Ratulangi Airport.

Mohammad Satriyo Utomo as the Commander of Sam Ratulangi Air Base also added that in the future the trees that had been planted must be managed and cared for as well as possible so that all parties can feel the benefits.

Then on that occasion he also thanked PT Angkasa Pura I Sam Ratulangi Airport for synergizing in providing TJSL assistance and not forgetting as well for all ranks of the sub-district and village governments as well as all those involved.
