JAKARTA - The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, revealed that his party had not yet received a letter of resignation from Sandiaga Uno, either as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees or as cadres. The issue of Sandiaga joining the Kaaba Party was also obtained by Dasco from his colleague at the PPP faction of the DPR. "I checked, until now there has been no resignation letter," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, December 29. According to him, Sandiaga's membership status as a Gerindra cadre will automatically be released when he officially joins PPP. "But in the law of political parties, if someone has turned into a cadre of another party, the previous party membership will automatically fail," he explained. However, regarding Sandiaga's certainty of getting closer to PPP, Dasco suggested that the public wait for an official release from the party chaired by Mardiono. Or, waiting for a direct statement from Sandiaga. "We'll just have to wait for the release from PPP or release from the person concerned," said Dasco. Despite the issue of the transfer of cadres, the Deputy Speaker of the DPR ensured that until now the relationship between Gerindra and PPP was still fine. "Yes, there is no problem. We have good relations with all parties, especially in parliament. We want PPP, we don't have a problem with other parties," said Dasco.
