JAKARTA - The KPK public prosecutor (JPU) stated that the evidence for the alleged corruption case in the procurement of the AgustaWestland (AW) 101 Indonesian Air Force which caused state finances of Rp. 738.9 billion was sufficient.
The prosecutor also decided that KSAU for the 2015-February 2017 period, Agus Supriatna, who had been absent from summons five times as a witness at the trial of this case, did not need to be presented.
"By considering the detention period (the defendant) and related to the adequacy of the evidence, we feel sufficient," said KPK prosecutor Ariawan Agustiartono at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor), Monday, December 26, confiscated by Antara.
Previously, Agus Supriatna had been asked to attend 5 times at trial, namely at trial 21 and 28 November, 5, 12, and 19 November 2022 as a witness for the accused Director of PT Diratama Jaya Mandiri Irfan Kurnia who was charged with corruption in the procurement of AgustaWestland (AW) 101 Indonesian Air Force transportation which cost the state finances Rp738.9 billion. However, Agus did not attend all these calls.
Apart from Agus, there were five other witnesses who could not be presented by the KPK prosecutor to the court.
"For Joko Sulistiyanto and Wisnu Wicaksono, as usual they get a letter of assignment and are not in Jakarta, later we will submit a letter of assignment," added the prosecutor.
Both are the Head of the Cash Holder (Pekas) of the Indonesian Air Force Headquarters for the period 2015 to 2017 Lt. Col. Adm. Wisnu Wicaksono and Kaur Yar Pekas TNI AU Headquarters Joko Sulistiyanto during the procurement of the AW 101 helicopter.
Another witness is Fransiskus Teguh Santosa Secretary of the Air Force Procurement Service (Sesdisada) of the Indonesian Air Force who also serves as Head of the Procurement Service Unit (ULP) and Chair of the Transportation Helicopter Procurement Committee, Heribertus Hendi Haryoko as the commitment maker (PPK) for the procurement of TNI defense equipment and one witness from the civilian community, namely Angga Munggaran as a staff of the Finance Section of PT Diratama Jaya Mandiri.
"Fransiskus Teguh Santosa and Heribertus Hendi Haryoko are both sick and Angga Tungggaran we have not been able to find the person concerned in the places we tracked and around them," said the prosecutor.
"Yesterday our orders for forced summons were made?" asked the chairman of the panel of judges Djumyanto.
"Yes, for Angga Munggaran, we have come to several places, including the ones we have investigated. However, we did not find the person concerned but we handed over the summons to his family and before the day of the trial they were also not found. We handed over the summons to the authorities at that time to the neighborhood chairman for that because the witness had been sworn in, we ask that we read the information at the trial today," said the prosecutor.
"What if the witness said he wanted to give an online statement?" asked Judge Djumyanto.
"We have facilitated both at the state prosecutor's office at the place concerned. However, for health reasons, the person concerned is not willing to attend. We submit a sick letter," added the prosecutor.
"Angga Munggaran drowned underground?" asked Judge Djumyanto.
"Yes, Your Honor, for Angga Tungggaran, please read out with the statements of Fransiskus Teguh Santosa and Heribertus Hendi Haryoko," replied the prosecutor.
Before hearing the reading of the examination report (BAP) of Angga Tungggaran, Fransiskus Teguh Santosa, and Heribertus Hendi Haryoko, the trial was continued by examining information from state finance expert Siswo Sujanto.
