JAKARTA - KEY's attorney, Muhammad Syafri Nur, revealed the reason his client spread a video showing domestic violence (KDRT), the alleged perpetrators of RIS against his biological children, KR (10) and KA (12).

Based on his statement, KEY was upset because there were no developments in the case. Even though it has been reported since September 23, 2022.

It is known, the domestic violence incident occurred at the Signature Park Apartment on Jalan Letjen MT Haryono Kav. 22-23 Tebet, South Jakarta. The act of persecution is known to have been going on for one year since 2021.

Meanwhile, this case only surfaced on Tuesday, December 20, after the video recording the abuse went viral on social media.

"He felt that the investigation took a long time, there was no follow-up. Then he continued to feel that his report was not responded to, Therefore, without communication again, he (KEY) immediately went viral, it turned out to be effective," said Syafri when confirmed, Saturday, December 24.

Syafri questioned the performance of the police, because of this case of child abuse, his status was only followed up and raised after it went viral.

"Why is it like this, our world is reversed. Make up first and then pay attention, even though it doesn't have to be like that, right. We live responsiblely each other," he said.

According to him, if this case of child abuse is left for too long, it will affect the psychology of the child or victim.

"The soul is also disturbed, there is an apasih problem, right, how difficult it is for you to work, until so long," he concluded.

Previously reported, Syafri Nur explained the reason why the domestic violence case that occurred to the KEY family was only reported in 2022. Even though the incident occurred in 2021.

"Friends, how come you ask that from 2021 you have just reported 2022? It's called a married person, if you report someone else is easy, you can report it that day too. But if you report a husband, wife. The child reports his father," said Syafri.

However, over time, RIS' actions had been missed. This also resulted in the perpetrator's ex-wife, KEY reporting to the authorities.

"We have seen very optimally. It can't be tolerated, that's why it is reported. If it is not reported, things will happen that are not desirable, the victim could be seriously injured or died," said Syafri.

Sidik Up Case

The South Jakarta Metro Police are investigating the domestic violence case allegedly committed by RIS against two children aged 10 years and 12 years.

Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, said that the case had been raised to an investigation after his party examined a number of witnesses and processed the crime scene (TKP).

"Yes, as of today (increase the status of the investigation). After conducting the TKP," said Nurma to VOI, Tuesday, December 20.

Nurma also said that currently the investigative team had again examined the complainant alias the victim's mother, KEY and the two victims KR and KA.

"Back to check, right (it has been raised) the investigation of the complainant and victim," said Nurma when confirmed, Wednesday, December 21.

Regarding the results of the examination, Nurma admitted that she did not know. Because it is the domain of the investigative team.

He only ensured that the next step from the South Jakarta Police would involve criminal expert witnesses and IT to help resolve this case.
