To Be Proud, DKI Jakarta Attorney Wins Corruption Free Zone Award

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) received an appreciation and award for the Integrity Zone Towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) or Clean Bureaucratic Serving Area (WBBM) from the Ministry of Bureaucratic Reform State Apparatus Empowerment (Kemenpan-RB).

Head of the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, Asri Agung Putra, appreciated the previous performance of Kajati DKI Jakarta including the assistants who had worked hard to realize the title of WBK in the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office.

"The most important point from the Integrity Zone towards WBK is to change the 'mindset' to build a new mindset and work culture in an effort to improve the integrity and performance of the bureaucracy that is free from corruption," said Asri at the Jakarta Attorney's Office Hall, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 21.

Asri said the award was a declaration or a milestone to show that the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office was capable of realizing WBK, which of course will be much tougher than it is now.

He believes that gradually the attitude of fostering enthusiasm and commitment will become the needs of each individual employee, especially in the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office.

"To achieve the title of WBK is not easy and requires hard work, a willingness to change for the sake of institutions, sincere, honest and sincere intentions," said Asri.

The awarding ceremony for the Integrity Zone Towards a Corruption-Free Area or Clean Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) was held online at Kemenpan-RB, attended by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.

Vice President Ma'ruf A said that bureaucratic reform is a pillar of the vision for an advanced Indonesia. For this reason, the government accelerates bureaucratic reform in all ministries, institutions and local governments.

According to the Vice President, this success is strongly supported through superior human resources and integrity as agents of change in order to create a clean government with optimal services, reliable and accountable capacity.

The head of the Jakarta Public Prosecutor's Office, Nirwan Nawawi, said that there were 50 work units (Satker) within the Attorney General's Office that received this award consisting of the Junior Attorney General's Work Unit for General Crimes (JAM PIDUM), six units of the High Prosecutor's Office and 43 units of the Public Prosecutor's Office. including the work unit of the West Jakarta District Prosecutor's Office.
