In addition, Operation Candles will also be held in all regions in Indonesia with a schedule of 10 days, starting from D-2 Christmas to D+2 New Year 2023.

The number of personnel who will be deployed in the 2022 Candle Operation is 166,000 personnel.

National Police Chief General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si., said that his party would prepare service posts, security posts, and integrated service posts to be established during Nataru's security activities. This is done to anticipate the situation at the end of the year, including natural disasters that are predicted to occur and disturbances in security and order in the community.
