Ferdy Sambo And Putri Candrawathi Will Present 2 Experts To Deny The Prosecutor's Indictment

The defendants Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawati will undergo a follow-up trial in the alleged murder of Brigadier J today. Two experts will be presented to refute the indictment of the public prosecutor (JPU).

"Yes, two experts (will be presented, ed)," said Ferdy Sambo's lawyer, Rasamala Aritonang, to reporters, Thursday, December 22.

However, regarding the identities of the two experts who will be presented, Rasamala did not explain in detail. Even with Ferdy Sambo's lawyers and other Candrawathi daughters, Febri Diansyah and Arman Hanis.

From the information gathered, the two experts are psychologists and criminal law experts.

Not only the trial of the alleged murder case of Brigadier J, the South Jakarta District Court will also hold a trial for the obstruction of justice case with the defendants Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra today.

The lawyer for the two defendants, Ragahdo Yosodiningrat, said that the prosecutor would present the crown witness. They are former Deputy Head of the National Police's Paminal Bureau B, Arif Rachman Arifin and former Head of Subdivision of the Baggak Etika Bagabprof Divpropam Polri, Baiquni Wibowo.

Both of them became witness to the crown because they also had the status of defendants in the obstruction of justice case, the death of Brigadier J.

"AR and BW have the information (witnesses at the trial of Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra, ed)," said Ragahdo.

For information, in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J, Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi were charged with violating Article 340 subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, for the obstruction of justice case, Hendra Kurniawan and Agus Nurpatra were charged with violating Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 subsidiary Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and/or the second indictment of Article 233 of the Criminal Code subsidiary Article 221 paragraph (1) to 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to (1) of the Criminal Code.
