Gathering Russian Military Officials, President Putin: Government Providing All Requested Army, Don't Be Anti Critic

JAKARTA - President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday the Russian army should learn from and correct the problems it is suffering from in Ukraine, pledging to provide whatever the military needs to continue the war nearing the end of the 10th month, asking the military not to be anti-criticism.

In a speech to defense chiefs in Moscow, President Putin said there was no financial limit on what the government would provide in terms of equipment and hardware.

"We have no funding limits. The state and the government provide everything the army asks for," he said.

On that occasion, President Putin again admitted that the summons for 300,000 reserves he announced in September did not go smoothly.

"Partial mobilization carried out revealed several issues, as everyone knows, that must be addressed immediately," he explained.

Furthermore, President Putin also referred to other issues that were not determined in the military, saying constructive criticism should be considered.

"I ask the Ministry of Defense to pay attention to all civil initiatives, including considering criticism and responding correctly, on time," President Putin ordered.

"It's clear that the reactions of people who see problems, and there are always problems in work that are so big and complex, can be emotional, but we need to hear those who don't cover up the existing problems."

Nearly 10 months since the February 24 invasion, Russia has occupied most of Ukraine's eastern and southern regions along the frontline that stretches about 1,100 km (685 miles), but has suffered a series of defeats that have swung the momentum of war for its smaller interests.
