Don't TRY To Make Chaos In Tangerang At Christmas And New Year's Eve, If You Don't Want To Be Targeted

TANGERANG - Ahead of Christmas and New Year's (Nataru) 2022-2023, the Tangerang Police will deploy a sniper team (Sniper) to prevent criminal acts and terrorism.

The personnel who are members of the sniper team are under the command of the National Police Headquarters, and will be deployed at vulnerable points in Tangerang City.

Not only that, the local police will also prepare the Gegana Team to sniffer dogs (K9) to conduct sweeping and monitoring during the Christmas service.

"For our closed team (right shooters) there is," said the Head of Operations for the Tangerang Police, Kompol Kosasih in his statement, Tuesday, December 20.

Kosasih said, the Tangerang Police will hold the 2022 Maung Candle Operation with a capacity of 740 joint personnel and will start on December 24-25, 2022.

Later, those who will secure churches, tourist attractions, New Year's celebration sites, shopping centers, train stations, and regional borders.

In addition, the Tangerang Police will set up six integrated posts stationed around the church and the center of the crowd.

"We place the service posts at KM 45 and KM 43 toll roads, while we place the security posts at the Citra Raya Roundabout, Cisoka Market at the Train Station, and at Tigaraksa Puspemkab Tangerang. Meanwhile, for integrated posts, we place them in the Citra Raya Roundabout," concluded Kosasih.
