Christmas Carol Is Again Held In 3 Locations In Jakarta Until December 23, Store The Location

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has again held a christmas carol stage in enlivening the 2022 Christmas celebration in Jakarta at three locations.

The performance of the choir group of Christmas songs was held from December 19 to December 23, 2022, from 15.30 to 17.30 WIB.

"Christmas celebration, christmas carol starts yesterday. Christmas carol is in Kendal tunnel, HI Roundabout, and Kota Tua," said Head of the DKI Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) Andhika Permata at DKI City Hall, Tuesday, December 20.

Christmas carol began to be held in 2019 by former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. Followed this year, Andhika explained, the christmas carol event was an effort by the DKI Provincial Government to bring religious equality in the capital city.

"Christmas carol is an offering of Christmas kids in public spaces to enliven the Christmas atmosphere in Jakarta," said Andhika.

Then, the DKI Provincial Government also held a light installation attraction in Kota Tua and Taman Sumenep Promenade to describe the lively city during the Christmas and New Year season.

Meanwhile, on New Year's Eve 2023 celebrations, the DKI Provincial Government held events at seven points. Provincial level celebrations are centered in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), precisely on the Archipelago cultural stage starting at 20.00 WIB.

In addition, the DKI Provincial Government is also celebrating New Year's Eve at the district/city level in six areas, namely Thamrin 10 in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta Mayor's Office, West Jakarta Mayor's Office, Setu Babakan in South Jakarta, Old Shanghai in East Jakarta, and Untung Jawa Island in the Thousand Islands.

Along Jalan Sudirman to MH Thamrin, the DKI Provincial Government also held a car free night by placing three stages in separate locations.
