Children Of Victims Died Of The IKA Unhas Mining Pull Incident Get A Scholarship Of IDR 50 Million From The Committee

SULSEL - Hasanuddin University Alumni Association (IKA) gave scholarships to Muhammad Alif Saputra Haswan, son of Masyita, who died as a result of a mass mining tug incident on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Makassar, South Sulawesi (Sulsel). The mining attraction was initiated by IKA Unhas.

"We want to ease the burden, and a form of moral responsibility as IKA Unhas. Continue to education. Boy, if there is a problem, tell your brothers and sisters at Unhas," said Amran Sulaiman on the sidelines of the inauguration of the South Sulawesi Defense University IKA management at the Makassar kawsasan hotel Monday, December 20 evening.

As a form of moral responsibility to the families of the victims, IKA Unhas gave the scholarship of Rp. 50 million to the children of the deceased.

The deceased Masyita is known to the Head of RT 001 RW 007, Ballaparang Village, Rappocini District, who participated as a participant in the mass mining withdrawal in the agenda of the inauguration of the IKA Unhas management in the South Sulawesi region on Sunday 18 December 2022.

Amran also invited Unhas alumni to pay attention to the victims' children. He also opened up job opportunities for the deceased's children.

This is our child, we must carry out the responsibility of both parents. This is a pure accident, every second is fate. Ajal, mate, sustenance, and fate is the prerogative of Allah. Nothing can be pushed back a second," he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the IKA Unhas for the South Sulawesi Region, Moh Ramdhan Pomanto, and his management for the 2022-2026 period after being inaugurated, invited all attendees to pray for the late Masyita.

"Yesterday, one of the participants of the great gathering at the mine tug-of-war event, who was so dedicated and had just been buried.

"Let us together lower our heads to pray for the deceased," said the man who is familiarly called Danny Pomanto.
