Central Jakarta Metro Police formed a joint team to hunt down the perpetrators of the kidnapping of a child named Malika Anastasya (6) that occurred on Jalan Gunung Sahari 7A, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta.

Sawah Besar Police Chief, AKP Patar Mula Bona said that his party did not know for sure the motive for the kidnapping of children. It is not yet known whether the kidnapping of this child involved the family or not.

"Currently, a joint team from the police and police is pursuing it," said AKP Patar Mula Bona when confirmed by VOI, Monday, December 19.

Bona explained that his party was also still deepening the investigation into the kidnapping.

"We have not been able to conclude whether this child kidnapping is included in the child sales network or not," he said.

Several residents around the location and their families have also been questioned regarding the case. In addition, the examination of the Circuit Closed Television (CCTV) on the path of the loss of the victim was also carried out.

"From the recording, it can be seen that the victim was riding a bajaj with a man," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a viral video of the kidnapping of a 6-year-old girl in the Gunung Sahari area, Central Jakarta (Jakpus). The kidnapping was carried out by a man using a bajaj.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin confirmed the incident. He said his party had received a report on Friday, December 9.

"We are currently developing because we have only one CCTV, while in the neighborhood we are looking for a series of events, including special characteristics that we can describe because the information from parents is still not detailed," said Komarudin when confirmed, Sunday, December 18.

Komarudin revealed, actually the perpetrator and the victim's family knew each other because the perpetrator often came to the shop of the victim's father.
