JAKARTA - The Ilyushin-76 A-50U long-range surveillance and control aircraft will be upgraded following its success in special military operations in Ukraine, sources in the domestic defense industry told TASS.
"The A-50U aircraft are actively used to complete missions in special operations. Following the results of using this aircraft platform, the Ministry of Defense has ordered further improvements," the source said, launching TASS December 14, although there is no official information on this matter.
