Bareskrim: Autopsy Results There Were 18 Gunshot Wounds On The Bodies Of 6 FPI Soldiers

JAKARTA - The National Police Criminal Investigation Unit has obtained the autopsy results of the six bodies of the FPI special guard, Rizieq Shihab's guard. 18 gunshot wounds were found on the bodies of the soldiers who allegedly attacked the police.

"In general, what I can convey to the public, there are 18 gunshot wounds (in the 6 bodies)," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Andi Rian, to reporters, Friday, December 18.

However, Andi did not explain in detail the number of gunshot wounds in each body. The reason is that it is included in the investigation material.

"That is investigative material. We'll just talk about the general thing," he said.

While regarding the accusation of finding bruises on one of the soldiers' bodies, Andi confirmed that this was not from the autopsy results. Only gunshot scars were found.

"There are no other signs of violence," said Andi.

Earlier it was reported, Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) lawyer, Aziz Yanuar, revealed that many gunshot wounds were found on the six bodies of the special guard Rizieq Shihab's bodyguard. In fact, one of them had several gunshot wounds found.

"There is one body with three gunshot wounds," Aziz told VOI, Wednesday, December 9.

From the three gunshot marks, Aziz said that all police shots had penetrated the bodies of the members of the laskar. But it was not explained in detail the part that had a gunshot wound.

As for the rest, Aziz said that he also experienced a similar condition. But he didn't see it directly.

"The information is like that (lots of gunshot wounds on other bodies)," he said.
