Ricuh Warga 2 Kampung Di Biak Numfor, Pemkab Holds Administrative Administrative Peace

PAPUA - Disputes occurred between residents of Kampung Ampobukor and Kampung Suwaipak in Swandiwe District, Papua. The Biak Numfor Regency Government (Pemkab) is trying to reconcile the chaos.

Assistant II of the Biak Regional Secretary, Numfor Lot Jensenem, said that peace was carried out by holding a Biak traditional event in the local village. The TNI/Polri apparatus also participated in this event.

He reminded that peace carried out ritually has sacred value so that this agreement must be maintained with residents in the two villages.

"Obey the peace agreed together and there should no longer be disputes that cause casualties," he said.

He asked residents to be aware of incitement and provocation of other parties who want to try to destroy peace, especially before Christmas.

Lot Jensenem thanked the TNI/Polri apparatus, Kadistrict Swandiwe, the head of the Biak state prosecutor's office and, religious leaders, the head of the Manpun customary council JJK Mandibodibo who also became the initiator of peace.
