Bekasi Police Traffic Unit Handling The Case Of A Woman Who Died Collised By His Own Car

JAKARTA - The Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of the Bekasi Metro Police is still securing RA, a man who hit an elderly woman when asked to move a parked car.

"We are still securing the RA perpetrators," said Head of Traffic at the Bekasi Metro Police, Kompol Arga Dija Putra, when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, December 13.

Although it has been secured at the Bekasi Metro Police Traffic Unit, officers have not named RA as a suspect.

"The case is still under investigation," he said.

Previously, a woman with the initials S (53) died when she was hit by her own car while asking her neighbor to move a parked car, on Jalan Rajawali II, Perum Papan Mas, Blok G28, Mangunjaya Village, South Tambun, Bekasi Regency, Monday, December 12.

Head of Traffic at the Bekasi Metro Police, Kompol Arga Dija Putra, said the incident began when S asked RA to move his Ertiga car. However, when moving the car, RA actually drove out of control and hit S until he died on the spot.

"The car driven by RA initially moved backwards. RA intends to move the position of the vehicle because it blocks the dismantling of the tent," he said when confirmed by VOI, Monday, December 12, evening.

Because RA is not used to using an automatic type car, RA is wrong again. The rear tire of the vehicle driven by RA fell into a ditch, then when RA tried to move the vehicle out of control and hit the car owner.

"The victim was in front of the car driven by RA. S died at the scene," he said.
