NasDem Calls Heru Budi Wants To Show Existence Change Slogan Jakarta City Collaboration Heritage Anies

JAKARTA - Member of the NasDem Party faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Nova Harivan Paloh, views that the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono has a specific purpose by changing the Jakarta slogan "City of Collaboration" inherited by Anies Baswedan, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta. Now, Heru changed the slogan to "Jakarta for Indonesia". Nova views that Heru wants to show his existence as a leader in Jakarta, even though he has not served for a full period. "For example, for each new leader, he wants to show his existence, yes, to show how there are previous differences," Nova said when contacted, Monday, December 12. However, Nova views that changing the slogan does not need to be questioned. Moreover, the slogan also means to continue the development of Jakarta with Heru's priority program during his tenure, starting from flood prevention, unraveling congestion, to handling waste. "This means that if the slogan alone focuses more on that direction, between collaboration (anies's analogous) and this new slogan, there is the same connectivity, right. Both are fixing Jakarta. There is no difference," said Nova. For information, in recent times, the public has highlighted the change in the slogan initiated by Anies. One of them is the replacement of the design "City of Collaboration" with the logo + Jakarta to "Suces Jakarta for Indonesia" on billboards on the highway. This slogan replacement is also applied on the social media of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. When Anies was still in office, the upload of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Instagram account, @dkijakarta, used the hashtag #boxolaboration. Now, the hashtag has been changed to #SuksesJakarta for Indonesia. The change in hashtags provoked various netizens' reactions. Not many netizens have criticized the change in the slogan on Instagram to Twitter. Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Communication, Information and Statistics Agency, Raides Aryanto explained the reason for the change in the slogan. Raides said that the Jakarta Success slogan for Indonesia, which is juxtaposed with the official logo of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, is a manifestation of the role of Jakarta's development for Indonesia in the future which will experience a change in the capital city. "Regarding the slogan ‘Sukses Jakarta for Indonesia ’, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will prepare a Governor's decree (SK) for the use of the slogan in the future. This is to support, as well as invite the people of Jakarta, to work together to deliver the capital city from Jakarta to the archipelago," said Raides. However, Raides emphasized that the DKI Provincial Government has not changed the +Jakarta logo that has been used in Anies' leadership. “ So, there is no new logo to replace the PlusJakarta logo," he said.
