One Family Killed in Kalideres Unrelated to the Apocalyptic Sect

JAKARTA - Religious Sociologists believe that one family who died in Kalideres, West Jakarta, was not an apocalyptic sect. Although, certain religious books were found.

"In my conclusion, they are not adherents of a sect or even apocalyptic. They are normal people who can die naturally due to illness and other things", said the Sociologist of Religion, Jamhari, to journalists, Friday, December 9.

According to him, referring to the religious books found did not indicate any irregularities. This is because the book contains knowledge of Islam, Christianity, and Buddhism.

In fact, after the book was checked and read carefully nothing strange was found.

"After seeing and reading, there is nothing strange in this book, nothing special, because of these books. The usual books that can be found and can be purchased outside (in) the general public", he said.

"So I don't think this indicates that they are studying an understanding of a particular sect or a particular religion", continued Jamhari.

Meanwhile, the finding of paper inscribed with verses from the Koran, which are considered as manta, is considered not a rarity. Because it is considered an attempt to cure a disease.

"Perhaps it was a medicinal herb accompanied by a prayer for healing from the family", he said.

Finally, regarding the findings of spells, after studying them, they are not part of a particular sect. But a prayer to expedite a mate.

"Usually this is used to facilitate matchmaking or to get charisma or aura", said Jamhari.

Meanwhile, the cause of death of one family has been revealed. They died not because of hunger but because of certain diseases, from respiratory to heart attacks.

"The discovery of carbohydrates and fiber in the stool analysis of Mr. Budyanto and Ms. Dian has dispelled the assumption that they both died of starvation", said the Forensic Doctor at Bhayangkara Hospital, Jakarta, dr. Asri Megaratri Pralebda.

Then, the results of the investigation also stated that they died because of certain diseases. For example, Budyanto is said to have died due to gastrointestinal disease.

Then, Reni Margareta Gunawan died due to breast abnormalities.

"Meanwhile, the definite cause of death for Budyanto is a new or acute heart attack", she said.

Finally, the cause of Dian's death was due to chronic respiratory problems.

"We are certain that we did not find any signs of violence or injuries on the four bodies", said Asri.
